On 11th January 2025, the campus of Thaamarai World School buzzed with festive radiance and traditional joy as students, parents, teachers, and management gathered to celebrate Pongal, the beloved harvest festival of Tamil Nadu.
Adorned in classic traditional attire, the entire TWS family embraced the spirit of gratitude and cultural heritage. Intricate and colorful Rangolis (Kolams) greeted visitors at every corner, while the sweet aroma of freshly cooked, traditional Pongal in clay pots filled the air with warmth and festive charm.
Adding an exciting dimension to the festivities, the school hosted fun-filled traditional games for parents. Their enthusiastic involvement, cheerful laughter, and friendly competition made the event truly special, strengthening the bond of our school community.
This grand celebration served as a beautiful reminder of the importance of honoring our roots, expressing gratitude to nature, and passing down rich cultural traditions to our young learners.
