Grandparents are the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers, and the keepers of our richest traditions. To honor their unconditional love and vital presence in our lives, Thaamarai World School celebrated Grandparents Day on Saturday, 23rd February 2024, with immense warmth and enthusiasm.
The event commenced with an inspiring address by our Principal, who highlighted the profound role grandparents play as the strongest foundation of every family. Our little tots from Pre-KG and Junior KG captivated the audience with scintillating dance performances centered on themes like “Unity in Diversity”, “Travel India by Train”, and “Incredible India”. Their joyful and energetic routines left the spectators spellbound.
The celebration built a heartwarming bridge between generations through interactive activities where grandparents enthusiastically participated in events like the Dress Up Show, Building Up The Tower, and Musical Corner. In a tender token of gratitude, beautiful artwork created by our Pre-KG and Junior KG students was presented to the grandparents as prizes and mementos.
