“Avoid using plastic bags; keep the Earth pollution-free by choosing paper bags!”
Environmental consciousness was in full bloom on 12th July 2023 as students across Thaamarai World School came together to observe World Paper Bag Day. With plastic pollution posing a constant threat to our planet, our young eco-warriors took active steps to advocate for sustainable, biodegradable alternatives in everyday life.
Through creative paper-crafting sessions and interactive awareness drives, students showcased how simple choices can yield massive environmental benefits. The activity served as a timely reminder of our collective responsibility to reduce plastic reliance, adopt eco-friendly habits, and champion a cleaner, greener earth.
By empowering our students to lead by example, we nurture a generation of environmentally responsible citizens who understand that small, conscious actions today lead to a healthier world tomorrow.
