“Empowering young minds with sustainable skills today lays the foundation for a greener, self-reliant tomorrow.”
At Thaamarai World School, we are constantly striving to enrich our curriculum with practical, forward-thinking learning experiences. Demonstrating this commitment, our respected Principal recently attended Agri Expo 2022, held at the renowned CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex in Coimbatore.
The primary objective of this visit was to explore advanced agricultural techniques, modern eco-technologies, and sustainable farming practices to further elevate TWS’s unique agricultural education program. Inspired by the insights gained at the expo, TWS is excited to establish enhanced skill training programs for our students across four key areas:
Nursery Management: Teaching students the art and science of seed germination, sapling care, and plant propagation.
Group Gardening: Fostering teamwork, shared responsibility, and practical botany through collaborative garden plots.
Medicinal Plant Cultivation: Educating young learners on traditional herbal wisdom, wellness, and the native flora of Tamil Nadu.
Forestry Development: Instilling environmental stewardship and ecological awareness by training students in afforestation and tree conservation techniques.
By bringing industrial innovations and expert agricultural practices directly to our campus, TWS continues to nurture holistic growth—equipping our students with essential life skills, environmental responsibility, and a deep-rooted respect for nature!
