A cozy, rain-drizzled afternoon turned into a sweet culinary adventure on 23rd June 2023 as Thaamarai World School organized a special “Bake on a Rainy Day” workshop! Designed for our enthusiastic learners from Kindergarten to Grade 5, the event brought warmth, laughter, and irresistible aromas to our campus.
Created to nurture everyday culinary skills and creative expression, the hands-on session saw young bakers whisking, shaping, and decorating an array of delicious, non-fire baked treats. Working side-by-side with peers, the children experienced the joy of shared effort, discovering how simple ingredients mixed with love can brighten up even the gloomiest rainy weather.
From mastering fundamental kitchen safety to plating their creations with pride, our tiny chefs thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this flavorful experience. At TWS, we believe that life skills like cooking and baking build independence, foster teamwork, and bring delightful memories that last a lifetime!
