“Education is the greatest catalyst for social change and individual empowerment.”
A profound sense of respect and admiration echoed through the campus on 15th July 2023 as Thaamarai World School celebrated the birth anniversary of the legendary former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru. K. Kamarajar—reverently remembered as the “Kingmaker” of Indian politics.
Recognized for his revolutionary contributions to education, including the mid-day meal scheme that opened school gates for millions, Kamarajar’s enduring legacy took center stage during the morning’s special proceedings. Both educators and students delivered eloquent speeches praising his visionary leadership, simplicity, selflessness, and lifelong dedication to uplifting society through accessible schooling.
The celebration inspired our young learners to embody the ideals of humility, public service, and integrity. Honoring such monumental leaders reinforces our mission to nurture civic-minded individuals who appreciate history and strive to make a positive impact on the world around them.
