“Color is a power which directly influences the soul and sparks the boundless imagination of a child.”
On 2nd December 2022, the pre-primary wing of Thaamarai World School transformed into a magical, regal wonderland as our adorable tiny tots gathered to celebrate “Purple Day”!
Symbolizing imagination, creativity, and royalty, the color purple took center stage throughout the campus. Dressed in delightful shades of violet, lavender, and plum, our kindergarteners arrived brimming with excitement. The children proudly brought along various purple-colored objects from home—ranging from toys and flowers to stationery—and eagerly participated in fun show-and-tell sessions with their classmates.
The day was packed with vibrant, hands-on learning activities:
Interactive Show-and-Tell: Tiny tots showcased their purple objects, enhancing their color recognition and vocabulary in a joyful environment.
Creative Art & Craft: Children engaged in sensory-rich craft sessions, blending colors and creating unique purple-themed artwork to take home.
Through tactile experiences and playful engagement, TWS ensures that foundational learning remains an enchanting, memorable journey for our youngest learners!
