“Safety starts small—teaching young minds to navigate the world with care, awareness, and responsibility.”
At Thaamarai World School, learning goes beyond the traditional classroom setting through engaging experiential field trips. Our enthusiastic kindergarten children recently embarked on an educational visit to the Children’s Traffic Park, turning fundamental safety lessons into a fun and hands-on adventure.
The young learners explored miniature roads complete with functional traffic signals, zebra crossings, and road signs. Walking along these mini streets under guidance, the children gained firsthand experience on how to interpret traffic lights, cross streets safely, and practice pedestrian discipline.
Adding to the learning experience, the children watched an engaging instructional video that highlighted the importance of helmet safety, seatbelts, zebra crossings, and road vigilance. This outing perfectly bridged classroom theory with real-world understanding, instilling lifelong habits of civic responsibility and safety.
