Primary education is considered as a single phase, where programmes are typically designed to provide fundamental skills of literacy & Numeracy and to establish a solid foundation for learning. Primary education forms the bedrock of development. It is in primary school that children learn foundational skills that prepare them for life, work and active citizenship.
