A demonstration using fire safety equipment

To educate and train the students for an unforeseen emergency situation like a fire, Thaamarai world school conducted a mock exercise and evacuation drill for our students. A demonstration using fire safety equipment was conducted by the experts from at ABC fire station in our schools. The objective behind this exercise was to create awareness among the students of firefighting techniques and the ways to respond swiftly in times of emergency situations. As the drill began, the younger students were cheering the firefighters as if they were action heroes who had arrived to save someone! Students were keen to learn about the operation of fire extinguisher cylinders and some even tried their hand on the same (of course under the guidance of the firefighters).
